AITHM Masterclass: Industry Engagement and Commercialisation
|
|
It was great to see so many colleagues join us at the AITHM Industry,
Engagement and Commercialisation masterclass held recently in Cairns.
The objective of this masterclass was to build researcher skills in
making industry connections, the importance of listening and engaging
with stakeholders and transitioning research concepts to a fully
commercial opportunity. A highlight of the day was the practice pitch
session, which allowed researchers to refine their pitching skills and
have real time feedback to home their business development skills.
Special thanks to our guest speakers Ms Kathy Connell, Mr Stuart Hazell,
Prof Zee Upton, and Dr Jenny Petering who each provided the researchers
with skills in collaboration, industry engagement and
commercialisation. Thank you for joining us.
